Welcome to the world of traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture
In order to maintain a safe & healthy environment for patients & vistitors and to comply with the British Acupuncture codes of practice, yearly checks will be carried out to ensure a safe & healthy practice.
As part of my professional practice, If i am unwell and not fit to treat safely, I will reschedule patients appointmtents as soon as possible.
I will maintian high standards of health & safety throughout an appointment, completing medical assessments and consent forms prior to treating.
Hand hygiene is paramount to maintain high standards of care, therefore hand gel will be available for all patients to use upon entering and leaving the clinic.
All needles are sterile and single use. Any other equipment used e.g. glass cups for fire cupping are washed and sterilsed after every use. Gua sha tools are single patient use only and will be washed after every use and stored in the patients files for their next visit.
The treatment couch is washed before & after every patient and clean couch roll is applied.
I treat a variety of patients, some of whom are vulnerable, elderly or have pre-exisiting medical conditions, making them more susceptible to infections; therefore, please do not attend the clinic if you are felling unwell (any cold type symptoms, coughs, unexplained rashes etc.) in order to protect yourself and others. Please contact me as soon as possible and I will rearrange your appointment as soon as possible.
Whilst mask wearing is not a legal requirement, I am happy to wear one if requested if a patient is vulnerable. At the time of booking an appointment please let me know if you would like me to wear a mask due to vulnerability and i will have one ready to wear.
I thank you in advance for your understanding and co-operation. If you have any queries or concerns I will be happy to discuss these with you on the phone.
